A Year To Remember

As December is coming to a close, I'm sitting here in my office writing this, reflecting on the year I've had and wondering how I got to where I am today.  I went to KSU and studied fashion, then dropped out, moved back home, started a business, and got my real estate license, all in the matter of months.

No words could ever describe the amount of gratitude I have for each and every one of my customers. I started this business with just $300 in my pocket. I ordered from one wholesale company for a month till I got verified from the wholesalers I use now. I wouldn't necessarily say that this biz has always been a dream of mine but it has always been sitting in the back of my head. I honestly have no idea where I would be without it. It's part of me and who I am today. I kept telling myself when I started my business “this is what I went to school for, how hard could it be?” The truth of the matter is I was wrong. I have poured everything into this business and it has been so hard, from the nights you don’t get sleep from reconstructing your website to the days when an order comes in and it looks nothing like what you asked for. Spending $$ on ads and seeing no profit. However, I wouldn't change it for the world. This biz has truly brought me so much. It has brought me each and every one of you.

2021: a year of many firsts for Crazy Chic, our first Spring and Summer collection. Our first Photography collab in Devils Den, Arkansas. We went “semi” viral on tiktok, we made our first insta reel, and we celebrated 1 year at The CC Boutiques. The word for 2021 is resilience; it implies hope, faith and possibilities.

My goal for 2022: GRATITUDE, CREATION, CONNECTION

I plan to maximize my biz as my #1 priority and continue to connect to all of you and grow a stronger relationship. Crazy Chic has a few exciting collabs coming in 2022 along with many vacays ;) 2022 will be a year of growth for CCB and I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us!
